Outdoor terraces and Markets
on sunny provençal terraces or wandering through a market filled with a myriad of summery colours... I set up and draw in places that inspire me or seduce me, whether it's at the opera, tiny bistros, grand Parisian hotels or beaches bathed in emerald colours... Then, based on these sketches, I create a canvas, combining a pose, or even an architectural detail with an atmosphere or a particular lighting effect... drawing on those colourful moments in life which have become fixed in my memory...
